How to become a Fiverr.com freelancer and make money from home

The free market has allowed us all to do more than we ever thought possible. One of the best free market scenes right now is Fiverr.com, a site dedicated to "Gigs" – small jobs that anyone needs done and cost no more then 5$ (Gigs can be upgraded for more cash, but the basic cost is always 5$).

Now, you too can become a fiverr.com freelancer, and make money from the comfort of your own home.

Find your gig

What can you do? Anything you can do is needed – from web-design, to research; anything you are good at is needed by someone, somewhere. To become a freelancer, you must realize what it is you can do that others need and will pay money for. Only you know you, so consider anything you are good at, and think of how many people need it.

Then, do some basic research about your chosen field – go to Fiverr.com and search for others who offer the same or similar service. Look for ways to outshine them – maybe you can do more than others, or maybe you'll do a better job. You should also try and figure out how saturated the market is – the more people offer the same service, the harder it is for any one of them to find gainful employment, so make sure your chosen field isn't already filled to the brim with others.

Last, decide upon the pricing – whatever it is you do needs to be split into 5$'s worth of single jobs, and maybe pricier add-ons. Don't commit to doing something at a loss, but make sure your prices are competitive, to make prospective clients choose you over the others in your field.

Build a page

After you have chosen your gig, you need to build your page. First, you need to write a sale pitch, that would explain swiftly and thoroughly what you do, why are you better than your competitors, what are you selling points and how long would you need to complete the Gig. If writing isn't one of your many marketable skills, find a writer to do it for you – this is a business page, and should be treated as such.

Second, provide proof of your skills. Show your creations in picture or video form, and make sure your would be clients can see how good you are at what you do – this would allow them to choose you over others, and convince them of your skills.

Last, ask your clients to up vote you and write good reviews on your service – make sure all clients are happy and satisfied with your service, and ask them to tell others of it when they can. Don't be too pushy – you don't want someone down-voting you to teach you a lesson! Ask in a polite manner, and DO take "No" for an answer! If you annoy someone, he will not post a good review.

That's it! Now all you need to do is sit back and let the orders flow in! You'll be making money from home in no-time!
